What is included in the course fee?

The TM course fee is a one-time investment that covers everything you need to learn TM and practice it independently for a lifetime. There are no hidden fees, subscriptions or mandatory follow-up payments.

Personal instruction

You will learn the TM technique one-on-one from a certified TM teacher. During this session you will receive your personal mantra and learn to apply the technique correctly, tailored to your situation.

Three follow-up sessions

On days 2, 3 and 4 after your instruction, you follow follow-up sessions in small group. In these, your experience is discussed, your technique is refined and you learn how to integrate TM into your daily life.

Online group meetings

After your course you can participate in free monthly online group meetings. This helps you deepen your practice and ask any questions you may have.

Lifelong guidance worldwide

After your course, you can always visit any certified TM teacher worldwide for personal checking or guidance, at no extra cost. This makes TM unique: you pay once and have access to support for life.

Payment options and accessibility

The TM course fee is intentionally made income dependent so that the technology is accessible to all, regardless of financial situation. The fee is based on the household's joint gross monthly income.

You can choose from two payment options: pay all at once via iDEAL or credit card (Visa, Mastercard, American Express), or in three monthly installments via In3 or Klarna at no additional cost. In addition, scholarships and partial grants are available for those in need of financial assistance, caregivers and veterans.

All fees include VAT. The course is taught by Maharishi Vedic Institute Foundation, a non-profit educational organization with ANBI status. This means that course fees are used entirely for teaching the TM technique and maintaining TM centers in the Netherlands.

We can offer a satisfaction guarantee because the TM technique has consistently proven effective for millions of people of all ages, cultures and backgrounds over the past 50 years. However, the TM technique only works and the benefits can only be experienced if it is learned properly and practiced regularly. Therefore, our satisfaction guarantee requires the following conditions: 1) complete all course sections, or in the case of a hybrid course, complete the course materials, 2) attend follow-up sessions approximately 10 and 20 days after personal instruction, 3) participate in personal checking to ensure proper practice, and 4) practice TM regularly for a minimum of 30 days. Refunds must be requested within 60 days of the personal instruction.

To qualify for the student rate (€345), you must be a full-time student at a recognized educational institution (college or university). High school students are eligible for the student rate (€245).

Scholarships and partial grants may be available to those in need of financial assistance, caregivers and veterans, as long as resources allow.

The Transcendental Meditation Technique is taught in the Netherlands by the Maharishi Vedic Institute Foundation, a non-profit educational organization with ANBI status.
